Colorescience Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Glow SPF 50 is a lightweight liquid mineral sunscreen with a universal champagne tint and pearlescent pigments. It delivers broad-spectrum protection and a dewy, lit-from-within finish on every skin tone, with no white cast.

How to use
Shake well. Apply generously to face, neck, and décolleté as the last step of your morning skincare. Wear alone, under makeup, or mix with other Face Shields. Reapply every two hours.

Building your routine
Face Shield Glow is the last step of your morning skincare. A simple routine looks like this:
- Cleanse with Barrier Pro 1-Step Cleanser.
- Treat with a serum like Even Up® Multi-Correction Serum or Pep Up® Collagen Boost Face & Neck Treatment.
- Hydrate with Barrier Pro™ Essential Moisturizer.
- Protect and glow with Face Shield Glow SPF 50.
- Reapply during the day with Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Brush-On Shield SPF 50.

Shake the bottle well before every use so the mineral filters and pearlescent pigments are evenly mixed.
Will the champagne tint work on my skin tone?
Yes. The universal tint is designed to flatter every skin tone, and it's sheer, so it adds radiance rather than coverage. It also helps avoid the white cast some mineral sunscreens leave behind.
Does it replace foundation?
It isn't a coverage product, but many clients find the glowy finish is all they need on low-makeup days. For more coverage, mix it with Face Shield Flex SPF 50 or wear it under your usual foundation.
Is it too shiny for oily skin?
It's oil-free and non-comedogenic. If you're oily, try it on the high points of the face and pair it with Face Shield Matte SPF 50 through the T-zone, or dust a little powder over the center of the face.
How much should I use?
Apply generously over the face, neck, and décolleté. Sunscreen only delivers the SPF on the label when you use enough, so don't skimp to keep the glow subtle.
How often should I reapply?
Every two hours when outdoors, and after swimming, sweating, or towel drying. It's water and sweat resistant for 40 minutes.
Is mineral sunscreen better for sensitive skin?
Mineral filters like zinc oxide are generally very well tolerated, which is why we recommend them for sensitive skin and after many professional treatments. Always follow the aftercare we give you for your specific service.
