Face Reality Barrier Balance Creamy Cleanser is an indulgent cream cleanser developed for the needs of acne-prone skin. It sweeps away dirt, oil, and everyday makeup without drying the skin or disrupting its barrier, while prebiotics and a soothing blend calm, hydrate, and support a healthy skin microbiome, one of the keys to getting and keeping clear skin.

Morning and night, massage a small amount onto damp skin, then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.

A barrier-friendly evening routine looks like this:

Will a cream cleanser clog my pores?
No. It was developed specifically for acne-prone skin and won't clog pores, even though it has a rich, creamy feel.
Does it remove makeup?
Yes, it removes everyday makeup. For heavy or long-wear makeup, you may want to cleanse twice.
Is it good for oily skin?
It's best for dry, dehydrated, or sensitive acne-prone skin. Oily skin may prefer a gel cleanser most days and use this one when skin feels tight or irritated.
Will it lather?
Cream cleansers typically create a soft, light lather rather than lots of foam. That's part of what keeps them gentle.
What does "supports the microbiome" mean?
