Environ Hydra-Intense Cleansing Lotion is a luxurious, conditioning cream cleanser that removes makeup and surface impurities while helping preserve the skin's natural pH and protective oil barrier. Highly effective moisturizers rehydrate the skin and help calm the look of redness, leaving it refreshed, soft, and supple.

Who it's for
All skin types, especially dry, dehydrated, or easily irritated skin that feels tight after cleansing. It's a great choice in winter.
Cleansing technique
Massage the cleanser in gently for about a minute, then rinse with lukewarm water. Dry skin especially appreciates a slow, gentle cleanse over a quick, hot rinse.
How to use
After pre-cleansing, apply to damp skin and massage thoroughly with your fingertips. Rinse with water. Follow with your Environ toner and vitamin A moisturizer. Use morning and evening.
Esthetician tip
If your skin feels tight or dry after washing, your cleanser may be too stripping. Switching to a conditioning cleanser like Hydra-Intense is one of the simplest ways to make skin more comfortable.

Building your routine
A comforting routine for dry or dehydrated skin, using products we carry:
- Pre-cleanse with Dual Action Pre-Cleansing Oil.
- Cleanse with Hydra-Intense Cleansing Lotion.
- Tone with Botanical Infused Moisturising Toner.
- Hydrate with HA Intensive Hydrating Serum.
- Moisturize with your Environ vitamin A moisturizer, such as Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 1.
When skin feels extra dry, add Vita-Complex Super Moisturiser as a final layer. In the morning, finish with sunscreen.
Where this fits in the Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™
Environ builds every routine around vitamin A, introduced gradually. Most clients start with Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 1 and move up through the AVST Moisturisers, typically spending 2 to 3 bottles at each level, all the way to Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 5. Anti-aging routines follow a parallel path with the C-Quence Serums 1 through 4, then Vita-Peptide Intensive Serum 4 Plus. This product works alongside whichever level you're on, so you won't need to change it as you step up.
How is this different from Mild Cleansing Lotion?
Both are creamy, non-stripping cleansers. Mild Cleansing Lotion is a gentle everyday option, while Hydra-Intense is richer and more conditioning, so it's especially good for dry or dehydrated skin and colder months.
Will it remove makeup?
Yes, it removes makeup and surface impurities. For heavy makeup or long-wear sunscreen, pre-cleanse first with an oil so the cleanser can focus on the skin itself.
Can oily skin use it?
It can, especially in winter, but many oily skin types prefer the fresher feel of Low Foam Cleansing Gel. We're happy to help you choose.
Is it good for sensitive skin?
It's designed to help preserve the skin's natural barrier and calm the look of redness, which makes it a comfortable choice for many sensitive skin types.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
