Face Reality Acne Face and Body Scrub pairs acne-fighting benzoyl peroxide with natural cellulose beads. It helps unclog pores and keep them from clogging again, while gently exfoliating the surface so your treatment products can absorb and work better.

Why benzoyl peroxide plus exfoliation?
Benzoyl peroxide releases oxygen inside the pore, where acne bacteria can't survive, and helps loosen the buildup that leads to clogs. Smooth cellulose beads lift away dead skin from the surface at the same time. Combining the two in one cleanser gives you acne-fighting action and smoother texture in a single step, and it clears the way for your serums and treatments to absorb more evenly.

How to use
Apply a small amount to damp skin and massage into a light lather. Don't rub aggressively. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry. Use a few times a week. Keep away from the eye area.
Good to know: Benzoyl peroxide can bleach fabrics. Use white towels and washcloths.
Building your routine
On scrub days, this simply replaces your regular cleanser:
- Cleanse and exfoliate with Acne Face and Body Scrub a few times a week. On other days, use Ultra Gentle Cleanser or Acne Face and Body Wash.
- Treat with the serum in your plan, such as 8% Mandelic Serum.
- Hydrate with a lightweight, non-clogging moisturizer like Hydrabalance Hydrating Gel.
For body breakouts, use it in the shower on the chest, shoulders, and back. Rinse thoroughly and let skin dry before getting dressed, since benzoyl peroxide can bleach colored fabric.

Alternate this scrub with a gentle cleanser like Ultra Gentle Cleanser to keep skin clear without overdoing exfoliation.
How often should I use it?
A few times a week is right for most people. Using a scrub every day, especially alongside exfoliating serums, can leave skin irritated.
Will it bleach my towels?
It can. Benzoyl peroxide bleaches fabric, so use white towels and washcloths, and rinse your skin and hands thoroughly.
Can I use it on active breakouts?
Yes, with a gentle touch. Work around very inflamed, tender spots and let the lather do the work rather than scrubbing.
How is it different from the Acne Face and Body Wash?
Both contain benzoyl peroxide. The wash is a smooth gel cleanser, while the scrub adds cellulose beads for gentle physical exfoliation. Many clients use the wash most days and the scrub a few times a week for extra smoothing.
Can I use it with a benzoyl peroxide gel?
Many acne routines include both, but it can be drying. If your skin feels tight or flaky, use the scrub less often and add a hydrating step. We can help you find the right balance.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Please check with your healthcare provider before using benzoyl peroxide or any active skincare during pregnancy or nursing.
