Why choose a hydrating clay?
Traditional clay masks are great at absorbing oil, but many leave skin feeling tight and dry. This creamy formula absorbs excess surface oil and polishes the skin while adding hydration, so you get the clarifying benefits of clay without the tight, stripped feeling afterward. That makes it easy to use on normal, combination, and even drier skin types.
How to use
- As a micro-exfoliant: massage a small amount onto damp skin after cleansing, then rinse.
- As a masque: apply an even layer to clean skin, leave on for 20 minutes, then rinse.
- Overnight: apply a thin layer as the last step of your evening routine and rinse in the morning.
Building your routine
On masque nights, try this:
- Pre-cleanse with Dual Action Pre-Cleansing Oil.
- Cleanse with Mild Cleansing Lotion or Low Foam Cleansing Gel.
- Masque with Hydrating Clay Masque for 20 minutes, then rinse.
- Tone with Botanical Infused Moisturising Toner.
- Moisturize with your Environ vitamin A moisturizer, such as Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 1.

Environ builds every routine around vitamin A, introduced gradually. Esthetician tip
Using it as a micro-exfoliant? Use light, circular movements and let the clay do the work. There's no need to scrub.
How often should I use it?
It's gentle enough to use as a daily micro-exfoliant. As a 20-minute masque, once or twice a week is a good rhythm for most skin types.
Can I really leave it on overnight?
Yes. Apply a thin layer as the last step of your evening routine and rinse in the morning. It's a nice option when skin looks dull or congested.
Is it okay for sensitive skin?
Many sensitive skin types do well with it because it hydrates as it works. Massage gently when using it as an exfoliant, and patch test first if your skin is very reactive.
Can I use it with my vitamin A moisturizer?
Yes. It fits into any level of Environ's Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™. If your skin is adjusting to a new step, use it as a masque rather than a daily exfoliant until things settle.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Please check with your healthcare provider before starting any new skincare during pregnancy or nursing.
