Why cleansing matters for breakout-prone skin
Excess oil, sweat, sunscreen, and everyday grime can sit on the skin and settle into pores. A good cleanser removes that layer twice a day without stripping skin so much that it feels tight. Over-stripping can leave skin feeling dry on the surface while it keeps producing oil. Sebu-Wash is designed to strike that balance, leaving skin clean, matte, and comfortable.

How to use
After pre-cleansing, apply to damp skin and massage into a lather. Rinse with lukewarm water. Follow with Sebu-Tone Clarifier and your Environ moisturizer. Use morning and evening.
The Environ Clarity+ routine
Sebu-Wash Gel Cleanser → Sebu-Tone Clarifier → Sebu-Lac Lotion or Sebu-ACE Oil → Sebu-Spot Blemish Gel as needed → Sebu-Clear Masque weekly.
Building your routine
- Pre-cleanse with Dual Action Pre-Cleansing Oil to dissolve makeup and sunscreen.
- Cleanse with Sebu-Wash Gel Cleanser.
- Tone with Botanical Infused Sebu-Tone Clarifier.
- Hydrate with Hydroxy Acid Sebu-Lac Lotion or Vita-Botanical Sebu-ACE Oil.
Use Botanical Infused Sebu-Spot Blemish Gel on individual spots as needed, and finish with sunscreen in the morning.
Esthetician tip
Massage your cleanser for a full 30 to 60 seconds before rinsing. That gives it time to lift oil from the skin instead of just passing over it.
Adding vitamin A to a Clarity+ routine
Environ's core philosophy is vitamin A, and breakout-prone skin benefits from it too. Your skin therapist may suggest adding a vitamin A product from the Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™, such as Vita-Antioxidant AVST Gel or Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 1, and stepping up gradually as your skin adapts. Introducing one new product at a time makes it easier to see what your skin likes.
Do I really need to pre-cleanse first?
If you wear makeup or sunscreen, yes. An oil pre-cleanser breaks those down so Sebu-Wash can clean the skin itself. Oil-based pre-cleansing is fine for oily skin because it rinses away completely.
How much should I use?
A small amount, about the size of a nickel, is enough to lather over the face and neck.
Can I use it on my chest and back?
Many clients do use it on other oily areas. Rinse well and follow with a light moisturizer.
My skin feels tight after washing. What should I do?
Rinse with lukewarm rather than hot water, and limit cleansing time to about a minute. If tightness continues, ask us whether a gentler option like Low Foam Cleansing Gel would suit you better.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Please check with your healthcare provider before starting any new active skincare during pregnancy or nursing.
