Exfoliating gloves for smooth, soft skin all over
Using these exfoliating gloves on the body will help gently remove dead skin and dirt, help decrease ingrown hairs, and leave you with healthier-looking, silky smooth skin. They're one of the simplest upgrades you can make to your shower routine, and one of our favorite tools to recommend to waxing clients.

Why exfoliation helps with ingrown hairs
Ingrown hairs often happen when a regrowing hair gets trapped under a layer of dead skin and curls back into the follicle. Regular, gentle exfoliation keeps that layer from building up, so hairs can grow out the way they should. That's why we suggest exfoliating a few times a week between waxing appointments.
Who they're for
Anyone with rough or dry body skin, waxing and shaving clients who deal with ingrown hairs, and self-tanners who want a smooth, even base.
How to use
- In the shower, wet the mitt and your skin.
- Add a small amount of body wash to the mitt.
- Slip it on and massage the skin in gentle, circular motions, working from your feet upward.
- Rinse, pat dry, and follow with a moisturizer.
- Rinse the mitt well and hang it to dry completely.
Start with 2 to 3 times a week and adjust based on how your skin feels. Use lighter pressure on delicate areas.
Building your routine
- Exfoliate with your mitts and a body wash like Acne Face and Body Wash for body breakouts or L-Mandelic Face and Body Wash for smoothing.
- Treat wax-prone areas with Bare Post Wax Treatment Oil or Prince Reign Ingrown Hair Serum.

Esthetician tip
Exfoliating the night before a self-tan or the day before (not the day of) your wax appointment gives you the smoothest results. Want a full plan to keep ingrown hairs away? Ask us at your next appointment.
How soon can I exfoliate after waxing?
Wait at least 48 hours after your wax so the skin and follicles can settle, then exfoliate gently a few times a week.
Can I use them on my face?
We don't recommend it. These mitts are made for body skin, which is thicker than the skin on your face. Choose a gentle facial exfoliant instead.
How do I keep them clean?
Rinse thoroughly after every use, squeeze out the water, and hang them to dry somewhere with airflow. Wash them regularly and replace them when they start to wear.
Can I use them with a body scrub?
You can, but go easy. Combining a scrub with an exfoliating mitt is a lot of friction, so use light pressure, or simply use body wash with the mitt.
When should I skip exfoliating?
Avoid sunburned, broken, or irritated skin, and areas that were just shaved or waxed.
Mitt or dry brush, which should I choose?
Both exfoliate. Mitts are used wet in the shower with body wash, while a dry brush is used on dry skin before you shower. Many clients like having both.
