The Mela-Smart approach
Uneven tone and dark spots develop over time, from sun exposure, hormones, and marks left behind after breakouts or irritation. They respond best to a consistent, layered routine and daily sun protection, rather than one strong product. Environ's Mela-Smart routine pairs Multi-Bioactive Mela-Prep Lotion, Vita Botanical Mela-Fade Serum A+B, and Intense C-Boost Mela-Even Cream with your vitamin A moisturizer, so each step supports the others.
How to use
After cleansing and toning, apply Mela-Prep Lotion and Mela-Fade Serum. Then apply C-Boost to areas of uneven tone or across the face and neck, morning and evening. Follow with your Environ vitamin A moisturizer.

Important: Daily sunscreen is essential for fading and preventing uneven tone.

- Tone with Botanical Infused Moisturising Toner.
- Prep darker areas with Multi-Bioactive Mela-Prep Lotion.
- Treat with Vita Botanical Mela-Fade Serum A+B.
- Brighten with Intense C-Boost Mela-Even Cream.
- Moisturize with your Environ vitamin A moisturizer, such as Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 1 or the level you're currently on.
Every morning, finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen such as Total Protection™ No-Show™ Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50.
Where this fits in the Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™
Environ builds every routine around vitamin A, introduced gradually. Most clients start with Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 1 and move up through the AVST Moisturisers, typically spending 2 to 3 bottles at each level, all the way to Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 5. Anti-aging routines follow a parallel path with the C-Quence Serums 1 through 4, then Vita-Peptide Intensive Serum 4 Plus. This product works alongside whichever level you're on, so you won't need to change it as you step up.
How long until my tone looks more even?
Pigmentation fades slowly. Skin often looks brighter within a few weeks, while more noticeable changes in dark spots take a few months of consistent use and daily sunscreen.
Can I use it on its own?
You can, but it's designed to work as part of the Mela-Smart routine, and you'll usually get the best results using it that way.
Is it okay for sensitive skin?
Many people use it comfortably. If your skin is reactive, introduce it gradually and let us know if you notice irritation.
Why is sunscreen so important?
Sun exposure is one of the main triggers for uneven tone. Without daily protection, new spots can form as quickly as old ones fade.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Please check with your healthcare provider before starting any new active skincare during pregnancy or nursing.
