Green Envee Mandelic Resurfacing Serum 8% is a corrective serum that gently exfoliates and brightens while reducing the look of pores. Mandelic acid smooths texture and helps fade age spots and acne marks, while lactobionic acid and soothing flower extracts keep skin hydrated and calm.
Why mandelic acid?
Mandelic acid is an alpha hydroxy acid with a larger molecule than glycolic acid, so it absorbs more slowly and evenly. That means effective exfoliation with less irritation, which makes it a great choice for sensitive skin and all skin tones.

How to use
After cleansing, apply 1 to 2 pumps to face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Follow with moisturizer. If you notice sensitivity, use less often. Always wear SPF in the morning.
Building your routine
A simple evening routine with this serum looks like this:
- Cleanse. Use Clarify Cleansing Gel for oily skin or Soothe Herbal Cleansing Cream for dry or sensitive skin.
- Treat. Apply 1 to 2 pumps of Mandelic Resurfacing Serum 8% to clean, dry skin.
- Hydrate. Layer H.A. Collagen Boosting Serum if your skin feels dry.
- Moisturize. Finish with a moisturizer like Balance Charcoal Moisturizer or Nourish Replenishing Moisturizer.
In the morning, finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen such as Ultra Zinc Body & Face Non-tinted SPF 40.
How often should I use it?
Start every other evening and work up to nightly if your skin is comfortable. A light tingle is normal. If you notice lasting redness or peeling, use it less often.
Is 8% too strong for beginners?
Mandelic acid is one of the gentlest AHAs, so many beginners do well with it. If your skin is very sensitive, start two or three nights a week.
Can I use it with retinal?
Using a strong exfoliant and a vitamin A product on the same night can be too much for many people. Alternate nights with Retinal Renewal Complex, or ask us to help you plan your schedule.
How long until I see results?
Skin often feels smoother within a couple of weeks. Fading dark spots and refining pores takes consistent use over several weeks, along with daily sunscreen.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes. Because it absorbs slowly and evenly, mandelic acid is a commonly recommended acid for melanin-rich skin, which can be more prone to dark marks after irritation.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Please check with your healthcare provider before starting any new active skincare during pregnancy or nursing.
