It's the first step of Environ's Mela-Smart routine.

Uneven tone and dark spots develop over time, from sun exposure, hormones, and marks left behind after breakouts or irritation. They respond best to a consistent, layered routine and daily sun protection, rather than one strong product. Environ's Mela-Smart routine pairs Multi-Bioactive Mela-Prep Lotion, Vita Botanical Mela-Fade Serum A+B, and Intense C-Boost Mela-Even Cream with your vitamin A moisturizer, so each step supports the others.
How to use
After pre-cleansing, cleansing, and toning, apply to darkened areas. Follow with your Environ vitamin A moisturizer and, in the morning, sunscreen. Use morning and evening.

Building your routine
- Pre-cleanse with Dual Action Pre-Cleansing Oil.
- Cleanse with Mild Cleansing Lotion.
- Tone with Botanical Infused Moisturising Toner.
- Prep darker areas with Mela-Prep Lotion.
- Treat with Vita Botanical Mela-Fade Serum A+B, then Intense C-Boost Mela-Even Cream.
- Moisturize with your Environ vitamin A moisturizer, such as Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 1.
Every morning, finish with a broad-spectrum sunscreen such as Total Protection™ No-Show™ Mineral Sunscreen SPF 50.
Where this fits in the Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™
Environ builds every routine around vitamin A, introduced gradually. Most clients start with Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 1 and move up through the AVST Moisturisers, typically spending 2 to 3 bottles at each level, all the way to Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 5. Anti-aging routines follow a parallel path with the C-Quence Serums 1 through 4, then Vita-Peptide Intensive Serum 4 Plus. This product works alongside whichever level you're on, so you won't need to change it as you step up.
How long until I see a more even tone?
Skin often looks fresher and brighter within a few weeks. Fading the look of dark spots takes longer, usually a few months of consistent use with daily sunscreen.
Do I apply it everywhere or just on spots?
Environ directs applying it to darkened areas. If your tone is uneven across the face, ask us how best to apply it for your skin.
Can I use it with acids or retinol?
Vitamin A is part of the routine already. If you'd like to add exfoliating acids or a retinol serum, ask us how to schedule them so skin stays comfortable.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Uneven tone is a concern for every skin tone. Darker skin can be more prone to marks after irritation, so introduce new products gradually and let us know if anything stings or reddens.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Please check with your healthcare provider before starting any new active skincare during pregnancy or nursing.
