Environ Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 5 is the fifth and final level of the AVST moisturizers in Environ's Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™. It contains the highest concentration of vitamin A and vitamin C in the range, along with antioxidants, botanicals, and a peptide, for maximum results: a more youthful complexion, smoother texture, and a radiant, healthy-looking glow.

How the AVST levels compare
- Level 1 (Vita-Antioxidant AVST Moisturiser 1 or Vita-Antioxidant AVST Gel): low vitamin A, the gentle starting point.
- Level 2 (AVST Moisturiser 2): medium vitamin A, building on level 1.
- Level 3 (AVST Moisturiser 3): moderately high vitamin A, and the first level to add a peptide.
- Level 4 (AVST Moisturiser 4): high vitamin A for visible signs of aging and sun damage.

What is the Vitamin STEP-UP SYSTEM™?
Environ believes healthy skin needs a steady supply of vitamin A. The system starts low and increases gradually through five levels, so your skin builds tolerance and you get steady results with minimal irritation.
How to use
After cleansing and toning, massage into face and neck morning and evening.
Building your routine
A complete Environ morning and evening routine at this level looks like this:
- Pre-cleanse in the evening with Dual Action Pre-Cleansing Oil to lift makeup and sunscreen.
- Cleanse with Mild Cleansing Lotion, a gentle lotion cleanser that won't strip the skin.
- Tone with Botanical Infused Moisturising Toner to remove any residue and prep the skin.
- Treat and moisturize with AVST Moisturiser 5 on face, neck, and décolleté.
- Protect every morning with a broad-spectrum sunscreen such as Sunforgettable® Total Protection™ Face Shield Flex SPF 50.
At this level, many clients add Tri-Retinoid Complex Retinol Serum in the evening and Vita-Peptide Eye Gel for the eye area for an even more complete routine.
Esthetician tip
If your skin ever gets sensitized, for example after a sunburn or during a harsh winter, you can temporarily drop back a level and then return to level 5 once it settles.
How do I know I'm ready for level 5?
You've comfortably used at least 2 to 3 bottles of AVST Moisturiser 4 with no ongoing sensitivity.
Do I keep stepping up after level 5?
Level 5 is the top of the AVST moisturizers, and many clients stay here long-term to maintain their results. Your skin needs vitamin A every day, so consistency is the goal now.
What's the difference between AVST 5 and the C-Quence serums?
The C-Quence serums are Environ's premium Youth EssentiA® range. They combine vitamins A, C, and E with peptides and are paired with Antioxidant Defence Crème. If you want more advanced anti-aging care, we can transition you, typically starting at C-Quence Serum 1.
Is it normal for my skin to tingle or flake?
When skin is getting used to more vitamin A, some people notice mild tingling, dryness, or flaking for a short time. That's a sign your skin is adjusting. If it's uncomfortable, use a little less for a few days and add a hydrating booster. If it doesn't settle, let us know.
Can I use it morning and evening?
Yes. Environ's AVST moisturizers are designed for twice-daily use, always followed by sunscreen during the day.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Please check with your healthcare provider before starting or continuing any vitamin A or other active skincare during pregnancy or nursing.
