How cosmetic rolling works
The micro-needles on a cosmetic roller are very short and are designed to stay at the surface of the skin. Rolling creates tiny channels in the outermost layer, which helps the products you apply afterward absorb better. This is different from professional medical micro-needling, which uses longer needles and is performed in a treatment setting. At home, the goal is simply to get more out of the body products you're already using.

How to use
On clean, dry skin, roll gently over the body area in several directions, then apply your Environ body products, such as Vitamin A, C & E Body Oil, Derma-Lac Lotion, or Tri-Complex Contouring Cream. Clean the roller after every use, and never share it.
Building your routine
- Cleanse the body in the shower and dry thoroughly.
- Roll the Cosmetic Body Roll-CIT® over the area in several directions with light pressure.
- Nourish with Vitamin A, C & E Body Oil mixed with Alpha Hydroxy DermaLac Lotion.
- Target areas such as the thighs or abdomen with Tri-Complex Contouring Cream Kit.
For the face, use a dedicated facial roller such as the Micro-Needling Cosmetic Roll-CIT® instead.
Esthetician tip
Consistency matters more than pressure. Gentle, regular rolling paired with your Environ body products will do more for your skin than pressing hard. If you're not sure where to start, bring your roller to your next appointment and we'll walk you through the technique, the areas to focus on, and how to clean and store it properly so it lasts.
Does it hurt?
Most people feel a light prickling sensation at most. Use gentle pressure; there's no need to press hard.
How do I clean it?
Rinse after each use and clean it according to the instructions included with the roller. Let it air dry and store it in its case. Never share your roller.
Where shouldn't I use it?
Avoid broken, sunburned, or irritated skin, active breakouts, raised moles, and any area with a rash. Don't use it on the face; choose a facial roller for that.
How often can I roll?
Follow the instructions included with your roller or the directions from your skin therapist. Ask us and we'll set up a schedule with you.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Please check with your healthcare provider before starting any new skincare tools or products during pregnancy or nursing.

Unused, unopened products can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund to your original payment method, minus a 15% restocking fee.
