Colorescience Tint du Soleil™ Whipped Mineral Foundation SPF 30 combines light, natural coverage with real skincare benefits. Its airy whipped texture blends in seamlessly for a silky, never-cakey finish, while peptides, ceramides, and vitamins hydrate and help minimize fine lines, all with broad-spectrum mineral sun protection.

Tint du Soleil comes in four shades: Fair, Medium, Tan, and Deep. Because the coverage is light and the whipped texture melts into skin, it's more forgiving than a full-coverage foundation, and the right shade should seem to disappear along your jawline. Key ingredients
- Titanium dioxide 4.8% and zinc oxide 6.7%: mineral sun protection.
- Peptide duo (Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Tetrapeptide-7): support firmness.
- Ceramides NP, AP, and EOP: hydrate and support the barrier.
- Vitamins C and E: antioxidant protection.
- Jojoba esters: moisturize.
How to use
Dispense 1 to 2 pumps onto your fingertips, warm between your fingers, and blend onto lightly moisturized skin. Build for more coverage where needed.
Building your routine
Tint du Soleil is the last step of your morning routine, so the skincare underneath matters. A simple routine looks like this:
- Cleanse with Barrier Pro 1-Step Cleanser, which removes makeup and mineral sunscreen in one step at night.

Esthetician tip
For the smoothest finish, let your moisturizer sink in for a minute before applying, and press rather than rub the foundation into any dry or textured areas.
How do I choose between Fair, Medium, Tan, and Deep?
Test along your jawline in natural light rather than on your hand or wrist, which are often a different tone than your face. The shade that blends away without leaving a line is your match. If you fall between two shades, we can help you decide in the studio.
Is it a sunscreen or a foundation?
It's both: a light-coverage foundation with broad-spectrum mineral SPF 30. To get the protection on the label, you need to apply enough product evenly over the whole face, so many of our clients wear it over a dedicated mineral sunscreen on long sunny days.
How often should I reapply?
Like any sunscreen, reapply at least every two hours when you're outdoors, and after swimming or sweating. It's water resistant for 40 minutes. A powder sunscreen with a brush makes touch-ups easy over makeup.
What's the difference between mineral and chemical sunscreen?
Mineral sunscreens use zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, which sit on the skin's surface to help shield it from UV rays. They're generally well tolerated by sensitive skin, which is why we reach for them so often in the treatment room.
Will it clog my pores?
Tint du Soleil is non-comedogenic. Be sure to cleanse thoroughly at night to remove both makeup and mineral filters.
Can I wear it after a facial or peel?
Gentle mineral formulas are a common choice once skin is ready for makeup again, but every treatment has its own aftercare. Follow the instructions we give you after your appointment, and ask us when it's okay to go back to foundation.
