How to use
After shampooing, gently squeeze excess water from your hair. Apply conditioner through your hair and massage a little into the scalp so you get the stimulating benefits there too. Leave it on for a minute or two, then rinse thoroughly. If your hair is very fine, focus most of the product on the mid-lengths and ends and use only a small amount at the roots.

- Cleanse with Surface Awaken Therapeutic Shampoo, washing twice with a one-minute scalp massage on the second wash.
- Condition with Awaken Therapeutic Conditioner.
- Exfoliate once a week or as needed with Surface Awaken Scalp Detox.
- Treat your scalp with the Thickening Hair Serum on towel-dried hair if you want a daily leave-on step.
Esthetician tip

Is it vegan?
The strengthening proteins are vegan: amaranth, soy and Keravis. For the full ingredient list, check the label on the bottle or ask us in the studio.
Will it weigh down fine hair?
It's designed for thinning hair, so it's meant to condition without heaviness. Use a small amount and rinse thoroughly. If your roots still feel flat, apply it from the mid-lengths down.
Should I put conditioner on my scalp?
With this one, a light massage into the scalp is part of the point, because the capsicum and menthol are there to stimulate. Just rinse well afterward.
Does it help with hair loss?
It's a cosmetic conditioner that strengthens hair and stimulates the scalp. It isn't a treatment for hair loss. If you're concerned about shedding or thinning, please see your doctor or a dermatologist.
Can I use it with other shampoos?
Yes, though the Awaken shampoo and conditioner are designed to complement each other, and we think they work best as a pair.
