Why zinc oxide?
Zinc oxide is a mineral (physical) sunscreen filter that helps protect the skin from both UVA and UVB rays. How to use
Apply in the morning as the last step of your skincare routine, after cleansing and any serums or moisturizer. Use a generous amount and spread evenly over the face, neck, ears, and any exposed areas of the body. Reapply at least every 2 hours when you're in the sun, and after swimming, sweating, or towel drying. Follow the directions on the label.

A simple morning routine with this sunscreen looks like this:

Esthetician tip
Most people apply far less sunscreen than they need. For the face alone, plan on about a half teaspoon, and remember the neck, ears, chest, and the backs of your hands. Keep a tube in your bag or car so reapplying becomes a habit. Will it leave a white cast?
TIZO designed this formula to be sheer and virtually invisible, even on deeper skin tones. Rubbing it in evenly in sections helps it disappear.
Can I use it right after a facial, peel, or waxing?
Yes. The gentle, mineral-only formula is made with post-procedure skin in mind, and protecting freshly treated skin from the sun is an important part of aftercare.
Can I use it on my body and my kids?
It's made for both face and body. For children, and especially for babies, check with your pediatrician first.
Will it work under makeup?
Yes. Give it a minute or two to set, then apply makeup as usual.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
