How to use
Morning and night, apply all over face and neck as your moisturizer, avoiding the eye area. Follow with sunscreen during the day.
Building your routine
Clearderma is the hydrating step that keeps an acne routine comfortable. A simple evening routine looks like this:
- Cleanse with Acne Face and Body Wash or Ultra Gentle Cleanser.
- Treat with your serum, such as 8% Mandelic Serum, and any benzoyl peroxide your plan includes.
- Hydrate with Clearderma. For extra hydration, layer Hydrabalance Hydrating Gel underneath.
In the morning, follow Clearderma with a broad-spectrum sunscreen like Mineral Matte SPF28.
Esthetician tip
If your skin feels dry or tight from your acne treatments, apply a thin layer of Hydrabalance before Clearderma. That extra hydration often makes treatments much easier to tolerate.
I'm oily. Do I really need a moisturizer?
Yes. Acne treatments like exfoliating acids and benzoyl peroxide can dry the skin, and dehydrated skin often feels tight while still looking shiny. A lightweight, non-clogging moisturizer helps keep your skin balanced so you can stay consistent with your treatments.
Will it feel greasy?
Clearderma is a light lotion designed to absorb without a heavy feel, which is why it's a favorite for oily and combination skin.
Can I wear it under makeup?
Yes. Let it absorb for a minute, apply sunscreen, and then your makeup as usual.
Is it good for dry skin?
It works for all skin types, but if your skin is very dry or it's the middle of an Ohio winter, a richer option like Cran Peptide Cream may feel more comfortable.
Does it have a scent?
It contains mandarin and orange peel oils, which give it a light citrus note. There's no added synthetic fragrance listed in the ingredients.
