About 1820 Candle Co.
1820 Candle Co. is a mother-daughter, woman-owned candle maker in East Palestine, Ohio, a short drive from our Canfield studio. Their first candles were poured under the roof of a c. 1820 farmhouse, and many of their fragrances take inspiration from the farm, nature, music and home. Every candle is hand poured, one at a time. We're proud to carry their work at Beauty Rituals.
Candle care tips
- On the first burn, let the wax melt all the way to the edges of the glass. This helps prevent tunneling.
- Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn for a clean, even flame.
- Burn for no more than about 4 hours at a time.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended, and keep it away from children, pets, drafts and anything flammable.

Orders ship within 5 business days of purchase, often sooner. You'll get an email with tracking as soon as your order is on its way.
Returns
Unused, unopened products can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund to your original payment method.
Opened or used products can only be returned with our approval. Skin reacts differently to every product, so if something isn't working for you, reach out and we'll find a solution together.
