What is DMS?

DMS® stands for Derma Membrane Structure, the technology at the heart of dermaviduals. DMS creams are built from skin-identical ingredients arranged in layers similar to the natural lipid structure of the skin barrier. Instead of synthetic emulsifiers, they use phosphatidylcholine to hold the cream together. The goal is a moisturizer that works with your barrier instead of just sitting on top of it.

How to use

Apply a small amount to clean skin morning and evening after your tonic, lotion, or serum, and smooth it gently over the face. It can be used on the body as well. In the morning, follow with sunscreen.

Dermaviduals notes that when switching from mineral oil and emulsifier-based products to DMS formulas, skin may feel a little dry at first, followed by a pleasantly soft, fine-pored skin surface. Give your skin a little time to adjust.
