Face Reality Hydrabalance Hydrating Gel adds a weightless layer of hydration without any oil or heaviness. It soothes, calms the look of shine, and keeps skin comfortable, which makes it one of the most versatile products in a clear-skin routine. Because it's water-based, it can even be used underneath Acne Med.

Who it's for

How to use
Apply 1 pump all over face and neck, avoiding the eye area. Use under Clearderma, Cran Peptide Cream, or sunscreen during the day, and under or over Acne Med at night.
The Hydrabalance sandwich: for very dehydrated skin, apply Hydrabalance before and after your serum for an extra boost of moisture.
Note: New pumps may need 15 to 20 presses before the gel first dispenses.
Building your routine
Hydrabalance fits almost anywhere you need a little extra moisture. A typical evening acne routine looks like this:
- Cleanse with Ultra Gentle Cleanser or Acne Face and Body Wash.
- Treat with your exfoliating serum, such as 5% Mandelic Serum.
- Hydrate with Hydrabalance, then apply benzoyl peroxide like 5% Advanced Acne Med if it's part of your plan.
- Moisturize with Clearderma or Cran Peptide Cream if your skin wants more.
In the morning, apply Hydrabalance after cleansing and follow with sunscreen.

Is Hydrabalance a moisturizer on its own?
For oily skin, especially in warm, humid months, Hydrabalance alone may feel like enough. Most other skin types like to follow it with a moisturizer to seal in that hydration.
Why does my skin feel dry and oily at the same time?
Oil and water are different things. Skin can produce plenty of oil and still lack water, especially when you're using acne treatments. A water-based hydrator like this addresses the dehydration without adding oil.
Can I use it under makeup?
Yes. It's lightweight and layers easily under sunscreen and makeup. Give it a minute to absorb first.
Does it have a scent?
The formula includes small amounts of botanical oils such as lavender, rose, sandalwood, and ylang ylang, so you may notice a light natural scent.
My pump isn't working. Is it broken?
Probably not. New pumps can take 15 to 20 presses before the gel first comes out.
Can I use it while pregnant or nursing?
Please check with your healthcare provider before starting any new skincare during pregnancy or nursing.
